The Brigham Young University Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is pleased to announce reowned chemist George M. Whitesides of Harvard University will deliver the third annual Reed M. Izatt and James J. Christensen Lecture.

In his Izatt-Christensen general session lecture, entitled "Simple Solutions in Medical Diagnostics in Developing Countries," Whitesides will address ways in which science and technology from developed countries could be applied in Third World Scenarios.
